Celine Legault Marie-Anne passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, in her 72nd year, after a courageous and stoic battle with cancer.

Celine will be fondly remembered for her quiet strength and gentle spirit. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially knitting thoughtful handmade items for Christmas, as well as spending time doing Sudoku puzzles and coloring.

A devoted member of the Ottawa Citadel Salvation Army, Celine held her faith close to her heart and valued the deep connections she made within her church community.

She was predeceased by her beloved partner, Wayne Wilson; her son, Jody (Helen); and her brother, Real.

Celine leaves behind her loving son, Markham Wilson, and her cherished grandchildren, Lily, Marissa, and Leonidis. She is also survived by her siblings: Jack (Anna), Ginette (Mitch), Andre (Julie), and Francine (Sean), who will all miss her dearly.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to her close friends at the church for their love and support. Special appreciation is also given to the staff of the 7 West Wing at the General Hospital for their compassionate care.

Celine’s strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
