It is with deepest sorrow that we announce on Wednesday March 13, 2024 Cecile Bellinger passed away peacefully at the age of 82. She was born July 4, 1941 and from Ottawa, Ontario.
She was the daughter of the late William Shepherd and Alberta Larocque. Loving and cherished mother to Debbie (Ben), Mark (Tracy), Greg (Bev), Glen, Cheryl, Janet, Lynn, Brenda and the late Michael (Kirsten). Cherished Nanny to Shanda (Katherine), Chantal and Melanie (Charlie) and many more loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As per Cecile’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
Cecile was a kind, thoughtful, loving and generous woman. She was hooked on The Young & Restless, loved to listen to music and dance. She also loved playing bingo and cards (which she could play for hours and we often did).
She will be remembered for her strength, feistiness and perseverance, surviving numerous illnesses. Her family takes pride in the fact that she fought courageously until her very last breath.
Special thanks to the incredible Dialysis Unit at the Hawkesbury General Hospital. Thank you for the care and wonderful support you provided.
Our sincere and deep appreciation to all the incredible and wonderful staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for looking after Mom for the last 2 plus years.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends including her best friend Joyce for over 60 years.
Rest in peace. You will forever be in our hearts and memories……..until we meet again.
