With sadness, we announce the passing of Cathy Ann Stoddard of Orleans, Ontario. Cathy passed on April 10, 2026. Her death was sudden and unexpected, leaving a void amongst her family and friends.

Cathy was born June 23, 1958. She was the oldest of three siblings. Cathy was born in North York, Ontario. The family moved to Kingston, Ontario when she was a young child. She graduated from QECVI.

Cathy is predeceased by her parents Nathan and Yvonne Stoddard; her youngest brother Alan Stoddard and her nephew Kiean Stoddard.

Cathy served as the 1st Vice President at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 632. She was very dedicated to the veterans in the area. She organized many successful events, including Remembrance Day last year. Cathy enjoyed organizing events and working to increase the visibility and membership of the Legion.

Cathy liked attending music events at local pubs with her friends. She had traveled extensively and lived abroad during her lifetime and had friends and acquaintances around the world.

Cathy is survived by her brother Bruce Stoddard, her sister-in-law Lee-Ann, her niece Kieriah, her great-niece Reighlynn and her beloved cat Whiskey.

As per Cathy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 632 on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

In memory of Cathy, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to The Poppy Fund at the Royal Canadian Legion to support Veterans and their families. Donations can be made online via legion.ca/donations or at a local Legion branch.
