It is with saddened hearts that the family of Bruce Jarvis announces his passing on August 21st, 2024 at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario.

Born in Weymouth Falls, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Clarence Jarvis and Maxine (Smith) Jarvis. He will be deeply missed by his surviving brothers, Clarence and Gilford Jarvis, and his sisters, Rose, Lorna, and Ethel, all from Nova Scotia and Arcola Jarvis from Toronto, Ontario.

Bruce was survived by his Aunt Barbara Brown of St. John, New Brunswick, Aunt Esther Berry (Jarvis) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Uncle Wayne Jarvis (Bonita) Jarvis of Nova Scotia.

Bruce was the youngest of nine siblings and an Army Veteran. He was friendly and he loved music. His favourite song was Candle in the Wind by Elton John. He lived at the Tony Stacey Center for Veterans for the last three years before becoming ill and going to Centenary Hospital where he passed. He will be sadly missed by many relatives, including nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his sister Irene Floss Jarvis, brother Phillip Brian Jarvis, and nephew Jason Jarvis.

A graveside funeral service will be held at St. Matthew Anglican Church in Weymouth Falls, Nova Scotia.
