Betty Irons

Betty left us for peace and comfort on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at Kensington Hospice, Toronto after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Richard in 2003, brother Mark in 2012, and father John in 2020. Betty will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and joy by her daughter Alexandra. Forever in the heart of her mother Marianna. Deeply missed and cherished by her nephews Christopher and Michael, and great nieces Ava and Juliette. Loved by her cousin Andy and all the Molenda family and Stevens family.

She will be forever remembered by her family and friends for her quirky personality, humour, wild adventures, love of cooking, passion for film, and kindness to animals.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Betty’s birthday, July 10th for family and friends. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would be sincerely appreciated.
