Basiliki (Vicky) Kotsiomitis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Basiliki (Vicky) at her home in Markham, Ontario on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 74.

Vicky was born in Tripoli, Greece on March 20, 1947, the daughter of the late Elefterios and Maria Christopoulos. She was the beloved wife of Basili (Bill) for 53 years and loving mother to Helen (Jim), Mary (Mike), and Dina. Vicky was the adoring yiayia to Christian (Lexi), Anthony, Maria, Matthew and William. Cherished sister of Paul (Elsie), Chris (Anna), and Stathoula and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Above all else, Vicky was a wife and a mom and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments. Over her life she touched and impacted many lives through her friendships, and will always be remembered for her kindness, strength and determination. She is truly loved by everyone that knew her and will be forever missed.

She will be remembered with visitation on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10:00am – 11:00am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3840 Finch Ave. E. in Scarborough.
