Barry Lacey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barry Maxwell Lacey on July 3, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by the love of his family in Ottawa, Ontario.

Barry leaves to mourn his beloved partner of 33 years, Sandra Newell; his sons, Michael Lacey (Roxanne), Mark Lacey (Deborah) and his stepdaughter, Sherry Khan (Robi).

He was a proud grandfather to Jenna Saikaley, Stephen and Taylor Lacey, Maggie and Sam Khan, and his furry friend Nellie, all of whom brought him great joy.

Barry is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Judy Critch (Sandy), Florence Whalen (Tom), and Fiona Dove (Danny).

Predeceased by his parents Martha and Garland Lacey and his brother Donald Lacey.

Barry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
