Barry Allan Gard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Captain Barry A Gard, 93 of Innisfil on May 12, 2025. Barry was born on February 12, 1032

Barry followed his love of flying by serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force and then finishing his flying career as a Captain with Air Canada, retiring at the age of 58.

He is predeceased by his wife Sylvia E Gard (April 2023). Survived by his son Dave Allen Gard and daughter Kathry A Reynolds (Dennis). He is also loved and remembered by his grandsons Luke Reynolds (Danielle) and Kristopher Reynolds (Courtney) and his great grandchildren Aiden, Mitchell, Mikayla and Sadie. Special thanks to Nurse Eileen for all her help and advocacy on Dad’s behalf.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services as per Barry’s wishes

Barry’s quick whit and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him.
