Barbara Nowak

Born in Poland on October 18th, 1950 and immigrated to Canada in 1983 with husband, Zdzisław Nowak, and son, Martin Nowak. She passed away on July 2nd 2025 at North York General Hospital.

Barabra defeated sorrow from losing her husband to a highway accident and humiliated cancer and its child the grim reaper for 10 years.

She was an avid gardener who nurtured life in her backyard and all around the house.

Most importantly, she ignited the spark of imagination in her grumpy son Martin and showed the positive value of stubbornness to her daughter-in-law Jia.

Barbara is survived by her son Martin, who will continue to apply the lessons he learned from his parents to live a life they can laugh about when they meet on the other side.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Sunday, July 13th, 2025. Visitation is from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, followed by the funeral from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

If travelling by car, search for 10 Linelle Street to be brought directly to the entrance. There is parking directly in front of the chapel doors.
