Barbara Dawn Crawford

On Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, in her 85th year, with deep sadness we said goodbye to our Matriarch Barbara Dawn Crawford.
Beloved Wife and best friend of Thomas for 67 years. Devoted Mother of Thomas (Darcy) of Sarasota, Florida and Jill Crawford Christie (Stephen) of Mississauga. Grandmother and Champion of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Stephanie Samuels (Alan), Zane and Zeke of Sarasota; Shannon (Ian) Cunningham and Jack of Milton; Matthew Crawford of Sarasota. First born and treasured daughter of William and Thelma Wright of Seaforth, Ontario.
Close Cousins and Family to the Wilsons, Bakers, Curries, Moore, Vawdas, Crawford Mitchniks, Begins, Ortons, Christies, Scotts, Guenthers, and the Thanksgiving Clan in Brantford. Barbara will be missed by all her cherished friends in both Canada and her second favourite home in Florida.
Always in your corner, Barbara made a difference with her generosity of spirit, her tenacity, her remarkable emails with encouragement, a unique perspective and wise advice, her great sense of humour, and her devotion to those she loved. No major decision was ever made without checking in with "Nan". Barbara was everyone's Grandmother.
The Crawford Family would especially like to thank the medical staff at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital for their incredible care and compassion to Barbara.
