Audrey Watson Phillips

Audrey W. Phillips passed away peacefully on June 13, 2019.
She was born at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Aug 11, 1927. Audrey Anna Bertha (Watson), was the daughter of the late Clara Haak and Basil Watson.
Widow of Clifford G. Phillips, she is survived by her four children, Cynthia, Nancy, Grant and Andrea. She was the proud nanny of "the twins" Allison and Alexandra Jane and their sister Aynsley. Loving sister to brother Dennis Kritsch, his wife Maureen (Burke) and nephew and niece, Brody and Shannon.
Audrey was a lifelong Ottawa resident, a voracious reader who read the Ottawa Citizen daily and could be often be heard as a regular caller on CFRA, on the Lowell Green Show sharing her opinions. Audrey led a distinguished career, working for the Senate and for Conservative MP's on Parliament Hill. A career highlight, was working for The Right Honourable Joe Clark.
The family extends its sincere gratitude and deepest thanks to all the staff, especially the Queenswood Unit at the Glebe, who for many years, cared for Audrey.
A woman of great faith, Audrey was a founding member of St. Timothy's Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. Timothy's Presbyterian Church 2400 Alta Vista Drive. Details to be confirmed.
