With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur James Uren on December 26, 2025, at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario, with his wife, Alfreda, by his side.

Art leaves behind his wife Alfreda; his sister Barbara Allbright and her husband Larry; his sons, Dennis Uren and Andrew Uren (with Kendra Kalbfleisch); and his grandchildren, Josephine and Martin.

In consideration of current weather conditions, a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, when it is safer for family and friends to travel.
