Arlene Lorraine Gibson

Arlene Lorraine Gibson (Ambrose), 79, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, with family by her side.

Born on October 24, 1946, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, moving to Scarborough, Ontario with her family at eighteen. Arlene dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for family and friends. Arlene loved spending time reading and making delicious creations in her kitchen and sharing her love of food with everyone. She was very creative and loved all kinds of crafts, from sewing, tri-chem, macrame and crochet to paper tole art. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, never forgetting a birthday or anniversary. Always showing others how much they were loved.

She is survived by her children Allan (Colleen), Richard (Pamela), Roseann (Nigel) and daughter-in-law Aliceia. Her grandchildren Ryan, Hunter, Jessica (Andrew), Amanda, Logan, Dylan and Natasha and her great granddaughter Everly. Her siblings Fred, Ella, Elizabeth, Cecelia (Doug), Desmond (Linda), brother-in-law Terry. Predeceased by her parents Percival and Elizabeth, sister Mirrell and sister-in-law Nancy

A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held in the spring.
