It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of April Rose Heeley who passed away peacefully in her home on March 16, 2024.
April leaves behind Warren Heeley, her husband and love of her life, as well as family Arleen, Erin (Bryon), Hailey, Liam and Benjamin and her sister Carol.
Born on January 18, 1961, April embraced life with a zest and passion that was contagious to all who knew her. April found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was sharing laughter around the dinner table or enjoying quiet moments with her husband.
April had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cherished cats Dakota, Gus, and Gemma. She found solace and companionship in their presence, and they brought her immense comfort throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of women's cancer research, a cause that was close to April's heart.
