Anne Marie Wright

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of a great lady, Anne Marie Wright on March 12, 2026. Anne was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, the youngest of four children. Although we have heavy hearts, we find solace in knowing she will be reunited with several deceased family members: Bob (brother), Gerry (brother) Bill (brother) Lisa (niece), Patricia (niece), Olive Elizabeth (mother) and John (father), Maureen and Monica (daughters).

Anne started her bookkeeping career working for the government in Fredericton, which she loved. As a smart and conscientious person, she continued bookkeeping up until her hospitalization in January 2026, to the amazement and admiration of all.

She was one of the funnest people to hang with and her straightforward demeanor and quick wit were a delight, endearing many people to her. She loved to laugh, listen to music, complete crosswords, read detective novels, play cards, golf and was an accomplished bowler.

She will be dearly missed and remembered by many: Paula (daughter), David (son) and Alison (daughter-in-law), Derek (son), Lexi (granddaughter), Lauren (granddaughter), Gord and Lyn (brother and sister-in-law), John and Sue (brother and sister-in-law), Cathy(niece). Karen O’Connell (niece), Chris and Veronica (nephew and spouse), co-workers and friends.

Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of Credit Valley and Queensway Trillium hospitals for their excellent care and compassion.

We welcome all who knew Annie and whose lives were touched by her to share a story, picture, memory or condolence here.

In lieu of a funeral, a private celebration of life will be held this summer. Donations in her name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
