Anna Nadin (née Escombe) passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2026.
Born on May 19, 1939, to Gerald and Betty Escombe, she grew up in St Albans, England. In 1966, she moved to Canada, where she built a full and happy life. Aurora was her home for most of her adult years, and she remained closely connected to her lifelong friends in England while cherishing the dear friends she made in Canada.
Most of Anna’s career was spent with the Government of Ontario. Outside of work, she was an avid painter who participated in various art shows over the years, and she had a passion for breeding and showing English Springer Spaniels. She approached life with a positive outlook and a wonderful sense of humour, always able to see the funny side of things.
Anna leaves behind her daughter, Diane, and son-in-law, Stuart; her grandchildren, Angus and Violet; her brother, Tom; as well as friends and extended family. She lived an honest, down-to-earth life, and her gentle presence will be missed by all who knew her.
A private graveside service will be held, and a celebration of life is planned for May, the month of her birthday.
