Ann Davis

Ann passed away peacefully at Silverthorn Community LTC residence, on May 25, 2025 in her 100th year.

Lovingly referred to as "Annie" by her predeceased husband, Roy. Ann was born, Ascenza Cancelli, in Pescosolido Italy and came to Canada at the age of 5.

She was fourth oldest in a family of 6 siblings, Francesca, Nicolina, Alberto, Margarita, Vincenzo and Olive and her parents, Teresa and Luigi.

At sixteen Ann worked at Northern Electric where she met Roy the love of her life and married a few years later.

The couple settled in Toronto and raised six children.

Ronald (Sonja), Louis, William (Ursula), Robert (Jane), Catharine (Peter), Brian. The family enjoyed many adventures, Sunday family dinners and trips to the States as a couple.

Ann enjoyed a wonderful life and reveled in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As Yvonne, second oldest grandchild wrote; "If it's one word to describe Grandma it would be unforgettable. She was one of a kind! She had a sense of humour that was unbeatable and definitely one of the best storytellers. She loved reminiscing about old memories with a keen eye for details in all her stories. I hope her stories and her love to laugh will live on."

Ann is survived by her six children and 12 grandchildren: Gregory, Yvonne, Melissa, Cindy-Lynn, Tanya, Kevin, Daniel, Holly, David, Sarah, Jesse, Eric.

18 great grandchildren: Genevieve, Evan, Olivia, Hazel, Marlow, Max, William, Ascenza, Ben, Oliver, Paisley, Adrianna, Brooklyn, Tony, Ruth, Gabriel, Lennon, Isabella.

After cremation and interment of the urn a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
