It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Anestis Triantafyllidis, who passed away at the age of 88 peacefully at his home on July 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. 

Beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, Anestis leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, his children, and his treasured grandchild, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was predeceased by his siblings and was the last surviving member of his generation of the family.

Anestis will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strength, kindness, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by relatives, friends, and all whose lives he touched. He was devoted to his community and his church. 

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross - St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 572 Penetanguishene Road, Barrie. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Interment will take place following the service at St. James Cemetery.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support, prayers, and condolences during this difficult time.
