Szczucki, Andrew Edward (Andy) - Peacefully passed away on the night of Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 as a result of brain cancer, two days after his 62nd birthday. He was born on May 21st, 1962.
He was able to spend his last remaining days at the Ian Anderson House.
Andy was loved and cherished by family, as well as his large group of friends. He is survived by his two children, Alex & Alison, his two brothers, Ted (& wife Jen) and Tony (& wife Shelley) as well as his nephews and niece, Ryan (& wife Lauren, son Cayden), Tyler (& wife Mel), Trevor and Lauren.
His friends included locals from the Swansea neighborhood, card playing events and cottage gatherings. He enjoyed boating, socializing, photography, playing games, hiking at the Halton Conservation Parks, watching TV shows & movies and most importantly, spending time at the cottage.
Any donations being made would be greatly appreciated by the family if they were to be directed towards the Ian Anderson House. It is a beautiful hospice located in Oakville, where Andy was wonderfully taken care of by the amazing nursing staff, PSW's and volunteers.
