Born on June 14, 1948, Andrew lived life on his own terms and was never one to seek the spotlight. He found his greatest peace in the quiet, whether hunting, fishing, spending time on his houseboat, or escaping to his camp up north. The outdoors suited him perfectly, asking for little and offering everything he needed.
He appreciated a good joke, a hearty laugh, and the occasional good time, but he was just as content with the company of a still lake and the sounds of the bush.
If Andrew had planned his perfect final destination, it would probably be somewhere with no cell service, plenty of fish, and no one asking when he'd be back.
He leaves behind memories of a man who lived simply, valued his independence, and found happiness in the quiet corners of the world. May the waters always be calm, the woods always peaceful, and the fish forever biting.
Andrew is survived by his two daughters, Lana (Cory) and Abbey (Dan), as well as his four grandchildren, Olivia, Braeden, Miles and Stella, his sister, Jeanne (Tim) and his brother, Gerald (Bonnie), who will carry his memory with them.
