There are no words to express the profound sadness of having to announce the passing of our beloved Andrew Dawson-Swan, on February 6, 2026 at the age of 37. Born on June 20, 1988, Andrew was a beloved son, partner, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many.

Andrew was cherished by his father, Chris Swan, and his late mother, Ann Dawson. He is survived by his brother, Jon Dawson-Swan, who holds dear the memories they shared. Andrew's legacy continues through his life partner, Angela Papatsie, whom he loved deeply. He will be greatly missed by his children Cayden Papatsie, Myra Papatsie, Olivia Ann Beaudry, and Emily Rose Beaudry. He took great pride in being a father. He cared for his family deeply, and his presence will be missed by his aunts, Sue Deaves and Lori Swan, his uncle Gary Swan along with cousins Jason and Melanie Deaves.

Andrew was a generous, kind soul with a beautiful heart who cared about and helped others. He created many close friends throughout his short life and was grateful for every one of them. Andrew took pleasure in the camaraderie found in his hobbies. He was an avid poker player, and a passionate hockey player where he was affectionately known as "Swamy".

Andrew, you will never be forgotten and I will miss you always and forever. Love, Dad.
