It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful woman.
Amelia Mary McIntyre (nee Locke) of Brampton, born November 17, 1929, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024.
Mary will be missed by her four children, Pam (Mike), Sherry (Tony), Duncan (Marlene) and Ian (Laura), thirteen grandchildren, Greg (Miki), Jeff, Brad, Trevor (Andrea), Brent (Jaime), Marlee, Stephanie (Reg), Duncan, Connor (Hilary), Samantha (Ken), Nicole (late), Erica (Andrew) and Colin (Jessica), eight great grandchildren, Christina, Emma, Jordyn, Drew, Jack, Theo, Hudson and Gwynn.
Mary was a strong-willed woman, living on her own, driving, volunteering at William Osler Hospital and Blood Services, and did various other acts of kindness into her 90's.
Mary's choice was to be cremated and a celebration of life is planned in the future at Elora Gorge, one of Mary's favorite places.
