The family of Aileen is very sad to announce her passing on January 11, 2013 on her 88th birthday at Strathaven Lifecare Centre in Bowanville. Mom is survived by her children Fran Parfitt, Mike Leggott, Susan Taylor and Bill Leggott. Gramma will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Shelley (Ron) Atkinson-Gaal, Trisha (Adam) Holroyd, Allison (Abraham) Dorion, Scott (Beckie) Taylor, and Samantha Leggott, and her great grandchildren Karley and Samantha Atkinson-Gaal, Nolan and Mylan Holroyd, and Brandon and Liam Taylor. Aileen is also survived by her brother Frank Tondora and his family in Connecticut, USA. Aileen was predeceased by her son-in-law Bain Parfitt (2004) and her husband William (Bill) Leggott (2006). As per Aileen’s wishes a private family gathering will be held. Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Strathaven Lifecare Centre for their loving care of Aileen over the past year.
