Adrianne June Easton

March 2, 1932 — April 15, 2024

Adrianne June Easton

Passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024 at 92 years of age at Seniors’ Health Centre (SHC) in Toronto.  Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ted) Easton; her parents Thomas Rush and Hilda Rush (nee Harrison); and her brother Tyrell Rush.  Survived by her son Chris (Nancy) and daughters Kate and Megan; and her son Bryan (Caroline) and daughters Tala and Payta.  The Family wishes to acknowledge the friends and neighbours – as well as the staff at SHC – who were so good to her over the years.

Born on March 2, 1932 in Northern Ireland, Adrianne grew up in Belfast and recalled leaving during World War II.  She returned and began her early employment in 1953, where she met her soon-to-be husband Ted.  Adrianne came to Canada in the late 1950’s following Ted who arrived earlier in the same year.  They began their life initially in Toronto before moving to Unionville in the 1960’s, where they lived in the same home on Krieghoff Ave until 2006.  Adrianne was a reliable and devoted wife, mother and homemaker keeping things (and her sons) in order.  As a point of pride, she took great satisfaction in underspending her grocery money such that she had a little left over to spend, yes, on something for her family.  Adrianne also became busy in the community over time including at the nearby Central United Church.  Adrianne spent her later years at Eastern Gate (Stouffville) where she continued her love of gardening as well as spending time with her granddaughters.  More recently Adrianne resided at Canterbury Place (Toronto) and then Seniors Health Centre (Toronto) until her passing.

The Family is planning to hold a private memorial service at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, any donations may be sent to the Arthritis Society Canada.
