Lily Kandiah

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Lily Kandiah peacefully in her sleep on September 9, 2023. She was predeceased by husband Eric and daughter Jessica. She is survived by her daughter Angela, her husband Nasir, and grandson Tamoor, daughter Margaret and son David, her brother Noel and wife Joan, and their children Michael, David, Anne and Christine, her sister Mabel and her children Richard and Michelle.

Lily was born on November 8, 1930, she lived in Hong Kong, and later emigrated to Karachi, Pakistan with Eric, where they lived for over 30 years. She was known for her cooking and hospitality, which is remembered by many who knew her. Later, she emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia. While living in BC she worked for the Bank of Montreal for 15 years. After she retired, she decided to move to Mississauga, Ontario, where she resided with Angela, Nasir, and Tamoor until her passing. She will be dearly missed.
