BOSY, Lillian Mary (nee: Procyk) (1935 - 2022) - Passed away at the age of 86 at the Southlake Regional Health Centre on March 28, 2022 with her four children by her bedside. She had suffered a heart attack two days prior while fighting with congestive heart failure for a year. Lillian was born December 25, 1935 in Toronto, and was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Michael Bosy (2007). She will be dearly missed by her four children, Chris, Susan (Mark) Vienneau, Laura Latour and Diane (Mike) Stricker. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Joshua and Jules Stricker, Lacey Abernethy, and her great grandchild, Ava. She was also the mother of the late Terry (Cynthia) Bosy (2019). She was predeceased as their only child by her loving parents, Nicolas (1987) and Stella Procyk (1990), predeceased by her loving cousin, Katherine (Kay) Leskiw (2019), and survived by her brother-in-law, Don Bosy, her cousin, Mary (Russ) Klymas, and Robert Klymasz. As a warm, dedicated and loving mother, she became an accomplished pianist and vocalist and did so for 75 years and was admired by many who watched her perform. Lillian loved to laugh and tell jokes developing into a 'comedian' in the last 15 years while performing. See also had a flare for writing clever and humorous poems, especially to her family and friends. Lillian was cremated and buried alongside her husband, Michael, at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery at 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, Ontario. There is no immediate service, however, please join us for a 'Celebration of Life' on April 30, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at the: Active Adult Centre of Mississauga, 377 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. 2nd floor Suite 116, Mississauga Ontario. In lieu of flowers, we suggest a donation to support Ukraine during this difficult time for them in honor of Lillian’s parents who were born there. We really appreciate all the care and support her friends have made during these past 3 years during her sicknesses and hospitalizations, for the health care she received from her personal support workers, as well as from the staff at Holland Gardens Retirement Residence in Bradford, Ontario. All of our hopes are with her! LOVE Chris, Sue, Laura and Diane, her children.
