Tilley, Edward (Ross)

Died peacefully in his sleep at the Michael Garron Hospital, April 29, 2018. Ross was born in Toronto, the eldest son of E. Philp Tilley and Jean Currie Harper. He is survived by two sons, Michael of Guelph and Robert (wife Suzanne) of Toronto and 4 grandchildren, Cameron and Jordan Tilley of Guelph, Caleb, and Paul Tilley of Toronto. He will be missed by his dear friend Flora, his sister Carole (husband Ian) Stuart of Collingwood and former daughter-in-law Denise of Guelph. He was predeceased by his brother Ian Harper Tilley (2003) and his wife Pam Hood (2008). Music and sailing were the passions of his life. In his retirement years, he enjoyed contra dancing, choral work and crafting wooden musical instruments. A Memorial service will be held at St. David's Anglican Church, 49 Donlands Ave. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. His ashes will be interred at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
